The CIS Sustainability team will be hosting a stall at O-Week to inform you about our sustainable campus initiatives. Find out what's in it for you:
- FREE bike tune up - bring in your bicycle on Thursday 28 February
- Try2Wheels - ask City of Sydney cycling experts for advice on Thursday 28 February
- University of Sydney KeepCups - purchase a quality re-usable coffee cups for work/uni and avoid using disposable plastic and paper cups on campus
- Campus maps - find out where to park your bike on campus
The CIS Sustainability team will be hosting the stall to engage students and staff and raise awareness about environmental management on campus.
CIS Sustainability and the City of Sydney invite you to Try2Wheels
The Sustainability team and the City of Sydney will partner on Thursday28 February to encourage staff and students to Try2Wheels. If you're new to riding a bicycle, or just getting started, Try2Wheels will get you pedaling with confidence! From route planning advice to buying a new bike the Try2Wheels team provide expert advice tailored to you.
CIS Sustainability ask you to consider a re-usable KeepCup for your takeaway beverages on campus
The Sustainability team will be selling resuable cofee KeepCups at a subsidised price during O-Week to encourage you to minimise disposable plastic and paper waste on campus. Refill and re-use a University of Sydney KeepCup and show your support for sustainability. The KeepCups come in a number of colours for you to mix and match to your own style.
