Best Green Opportunity Award

The Sydney Genesis Business Plan Competition is an annual competition aiming to encourage a culture of innovation among students at the University of Sydney.

This year Sustainable Campus is sponsoring one of the Genesis Business Plan Awards - the Best Green Opportunity Award. This aims to get students to develop a business proposal that applies the principles of ecologically sustainable development (ESD) in order to improve the sustainability of the University.

The proposal can be a:

  • completely new idea,
  • significantly improved process of current programs, or
  • commercialisation an existing sustainability idea!

No previous experience is required for the Opportunity Recognition prizes - but creativity, innovation and enthusiasm are recommended!

Prize Money: $1,000
