New learning hubs a hit on campus

28 March 2012

New learning hubs delivered through the Learning Networks Project this semester have proven a hit with students.

The once under-used spaces in the PNR and Carslaw buildings, now provide students with cutting edge technology to help them with individual or group work. The learning hubs are buzzing, with students taking full advantage of the new facilities.

Further learning hubs will open in the Wentworth building and Fisher Library later this year.

The Learning Networks Project is collaboration between Campus Infrastructure and Services, ICT, the University library and Sydney eLearning. It was possible thanks to funding from the Federal Government through its Teaching and Learning Capital Fund (TLC) and the University.

The project is a demonstration of our aspirations to provide spaces that align learning, teaching, research and knowledge.
