sheet of recycled paperThe University currently uses over 88 million sheets of paper every year - that's 2.8 pages a second. In order to minimise the effect that the University's consumption of paper has on the environment, we are encouraging all Faculties and Service Units to consider using paper made from 100% post-consumer recycled content.

Envirobank- Now Rewarding you to Recycle   View Summary

winning ticketThe University's new Envirobank machines are now up and running ready to collect your used plastic bottles and aluminium cans and rewards your efforts. Over 1500 plastic bottles & aluminium cans were collected in May, saving the equivalent energy that would be needed to power a 60 watt light bulb for over a year.
