Security update: payment system compliance
12 February 2013
As part of a program to enhance the security of the University's payment systems, Information and Communications Technology (ICT) will be conducting scans of a number of databases, financial applications and shared drives. Scans commenced on Wednesday 13 February and are expected to continue over the next 3 weeks.
Personal (fs1) and departmental (fs2) shared drives will be scanned as well as the following systems' databases:
- PeopleSoft
- Hyperion
- Archibus
- Archives and Records Management Service (ARMS)
- TRIM
- OneStop
During the scans, you will still be able to access these services but may experience a slight degradation of service, such as slowness when accessing files.
Once complete, scan results will be processed by a compliance consultant and if required, remediation steps will be advised.
