Changes to student email

In 2009 the University released a new student email system, Sydney Mail. As part of the transition to the new system, a redirect was put in place so students using their old email address ( would still receive their email via their new Sydney Mail account. With little evidence to support the use of the redirect, the cost of maintaining this redirect (up to $1.6million in licensing costs) has become unfeasible.

As a result, from Monday 10 December we will be removing the redirection service. To ensure continued access to any services you might be using with this address, please update your email details using your Sydney Mail address ( Examples of services include: email redirects/forwards to another mail service and email setup on your mobile or tablet.
