IT Matters is coming to Cumberland!

ICT would like to host a rerun of the first two IT Matters sessions for staff at Cumberland and nearby campuses. In one hour we will cover two of the hot topics raised at the ICT Helpdesk: iPhones - what they can and can't do for you, and Staying connected -accessing work when you're away from your desk. We will need to meet a critical mass of registered attendees in order to hold this event - so please register!

Topic 1: iPhones - what they can and can't do for you
This seminar will provide information about some of the nifty things that the iPhone can do. It's pitched at those people who've started using the iPhone in the University environment and want to know how to make the most of it. The presentation will include how to get started, tips and tricks, iPhone peculiarities, Sydney Mobile and the future of the iPhone at the University of Sydney.
Topic 2: Staying connected - accessing work when you're away from your desk
This seminar will cover how to access your work in different environments and situations. The presentation will include staying connected via phone, a public computer, a personal computer and a University-owned computer, as well as how to access the University wifi network, access software and useful tips and tricks to stay connected wherever you are.
After the presentation, you will have an opportunity to ask questions to our friendly panel from ICT.
