McGrath (Carslaw) ICT Access Lab closure 5pm Friday 24 June

17 June 2011

As part of the $500 million Teaching and Learning Capital Fund (TLC), the University has commenced a project to build new learning spaces for students called learning hubs. The learning hubs will contain new computers, wireless internet access and places to plug in your mobile phone or laptop, as well as room for group, pair and individual study and cafe services.

In order to make way for the first stage of building the Learning Network we will be temporarily closing the McGrath ICT Access Lab (Room 201, Carslaw Building) at 5pm this Friday 24 June 2011.

If you still need to access computing facilities on campus during the Winter break, please visit the student IT website for locations and opening hours of alternative labs. If you need to access computing facilities after normal operating hours, 24-hour swipe card access will be available in the Link Access Lab at the beginning of Semester 2 (25 July).

The first Learning Hub will also be opened on Level 4, Wentworth Building at the beginning of Semester 2, where you will have access to new computers and study space.

We apologise for any inconvenience the building works may cause.
