IISME launch a success
17 March 2010
On the 26th of February, 2010, The Deputy Vice Chancellor of Education Professor Derrick Armstrong at the University of Sydney marked the official opening of the Institute for Innovation in Science and Mathematics Education. Institute Director Associate Professor Manjula Sharma and Deputy Director Professor Michael Jacobson were joined by Frank Howarth, Director of the Australian Museum, and a number of leaders in the area to introduce the Institute and set the stage for its broader aims within the context of the coming decade.
We would like to extend our thanks to everyone who joined us at this celebration and helped to make the launch a success.
