Canberra Trip
19 August 2012
A group of 12 residents recently visited the Nation's capital for a weekend of sightseeing and relaxation, especially important before the uni work starts to pile up! The group set out early on Saturday before reaching Canberra mid-morning. They visited the National Science Museum Questacon, National Art Gallery and National Museum of Australia throughout the day. After checking in at the YHA, the group explored the city's centre before enjoying a BBQ dinner and wine on the rooftop terrace as the sun set. After a hearty breakfast, the group took advantage of the beautiful weather by taking a stroll around the Botanical gardens before visiting the Australian War Memorial and Parliament House. A great weekend of culture and laughs. Thanks to all those who attended.Phone: 02 935
