This talk will discuss recent international tax reforms in Australia and around the world. Some of the topics to be dealt with will include the spread of participation exemptions, controlled foreign corporations rules, interest deductibility and foreign source income, thin capitalization rules, tax treaties and the OECD exchange of information initiative.
