Obesity Australia Summit

On 3-4 December Obesity Australia is hosting a Summit at the John Curtin School of Medical Research in Canberra entitled "Obesity: Changing the Rhetoric, Solutions for the Future". The meeting will outline the extent of the problem of obesity and its associated disorders, explore whose responsibility it is, and propose solutions for its mitigation. The target audience is broad - media, general practice, governments, community interest groups and specialist societies. The format is of six two hour sessions, with a series of accessible presentations followed by a 40-45 minute panel discussion, engaging speakers, panellists and the audience.
