A/Prof Margaret Allman-Farinelli appointed to DAA board

The Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) recently announced the appointment of Associate Professor Margaret Allman-Farinelli to the Board. She was also elected Vice President by the Board.

The Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) is the national Association of the profession, with branches in each State and Territory. The precursor of DAA, the Australian Association of Dietitians, was established in 1976. The Association became known as DAA in 1983. DAA represents over 4,000 members.

The Board of DAA is responsible for the management of the Association's affairs. It comprises of the President, the Vice-President, and eight elected Directors each from a different State or Territory. Administrative and professional support is provided by the Chief Executive Officer, the Professional Services Manager and other staff in DAA's National Office located in Canberra, ACT.
