ARC grant success for School of Physics

The School of Physics has been tremendously successful in the 2013 round of ARC funding schemes, with a total of over $5 million being awarded to 18 separate projects.

These include:

10 Discovery Projects with the School of Physics as lead Chief Investigator - total $3.42m 2 Discovery Projects involving School of Physics Chief Investigators - total $880k

2 Discovery Early Career Research Awards - total $750k

3 Linkage Infrastructure and Facilities Grants with School of Physics as Lead Chief Investigator - total $1.9m 1 Linkage and Facilities Grants with School of Physics Chief Investigators - total $150k.

The projects range from international collaborations in astronomy and quantum physics applications through to biomaterials and global approaches to environmental footprinting.
