Medical Physicist Awarded AM

Adjunct Associate Professor Lyn Oliver was recently recognised in the Queen's Birthday Honours with a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for his "service to medical physics".
As Director of Medical Physics in the Radiation Oncology Department at Royal North Shore Hospital Professor Oliver played a significant role in assisting the establishment of the postgraduate coursework Master of Medical Physics program in the School of Physics from 2004.

For service to medical physics in the field of radiation oncology, and through executive roles with the Australasian College of Physical Scientists and Engineers in Medicine, and to professional associations.
