Professor Chris Dickman has won the Whitley Medal for his recent book A Fragile Balance: The extraordinary story of Australian marsupials. The Whitley Medal - the most prestigious of all the Whitley Awards given by the Royal Zoological Society of NSW - is awarded for a publication that makes a landmark contribution to the understanding, content or dissemination of zoological knowledge.
