Welcome to the Kepert GroupWe perform research into advanced functional materials, utilising a wide range of cutting-edge techniques. Primarily, we concentrate on the design and properties of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs).We use single crystal and powder X-ray and neutron crystallography, SQUID / PPMS magnetometry and numerous gas sorption techniques to fully characterise the large range of physical properties that can be attained in these classes of materials.  The Kepert group represents one component of the wider Molecular Materials Group in the School of Chemistry - please visit the pages of Dr Deanna D'Alessandro to find out more. News and eventsWe would like to welcome Dr Thomas Faust and Dr Tamara Church to the Molecular Materials Group and look forward to their work investigating the advanced properties of coordination framework materials.Recent Paper HighlightsHysteretic three-step spin crossover in a thermo- and photo-chromic 3D pillared Hofmann-type metal-organic frameworkN.F.
