STEM Teacher Enrichment Academy

The STEM Teacher Enrichment Academy brings together expertise from the University’s faculties of Education and Social Work, Science, and Engineering and Information Technologies to help build the nations STEM capacity through teacher enrichment and professional development.

STEM Academy Program

The academy’s multi-day program provides teachers with knowledge, skills and support to make real change in the classroom teaching of STEM subjects.

Discipline groups

The academy offers three development programs based around the core disciplines of science, mathematics and engineering and technology.

    STEM Teachers Workshop

    To explore STEM integrated units of work, a STEM workshop for Years 7 to 10 teachers of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics will be held in the Faculty of Education and Social Work and will feature teachers talking about integrated units they have implemented in schools, curriculum designers explaining how to develop such units with interdisciplinary teams, and opportunities for teachers to plan integrated units together.
