«p»With monsters representing the outcasts, the unwanted, and the in-between, this project seeks to explore the nuances of Middle English narratives, through translation and interpretation. This project uses modern and seminal queer theory to explore the monstrous and horrific in Middle English literature and folktales. Through these methods, this project will explore queer monstrosity in the Middle English period, covering shape-changers, magic and more-than-human identities common in Arthurian romance.«/p»
