Thesis abstract:

My project focuses on Ezra Pound’s unpublished material of Shih-ching: The Classic Anthology Defined by Confucius. The thesis will account for the transnational poetics in this modernist work by engaging with Pound's notebooks, drafts, and manuscripts, which will be read along with his source texts related to the Classic of Poetry or Shijing, including its reception histories, commentary traditions, and translations.
