Talia Walker recently completed her Doctorate of Philosophy in Italian Studies at the University of Sydney. Her research interests lay within pragmatics and intercultural communication, and she has a background in language teaching at the tertiary level. Talia’s doctoral thesis examined emailed apologies within the university context. She currently works for the NSW Department of Education in a policy and strategy role, and is a Research Affiliate at the University of Sydney.
