Edna Jean Pritchard

Edna Jean Pritchard (later Heath) graduated Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Sydney in 1924.

Her early years

Edna Jean Pritchard was born in Granville in 1902, the daughter of Hugh and Florence Amelia Pritchard. Her siblings included a sister, Phyllis.

Her student days at the University of Sydney

Edna was an undergraduate Architecture student between 1920 and 1923, and was a student in residence at Women's College.
She graduated Bachelor of Architecture in 1924.

Her career

Edna married Clive Patterson Heath (who graduated BArch in 1925) in 1926, and they lived in Manly. Their children were Evelyn, Jean and Nicholas.

Her brother-in-law Eric Fergus Heath was also an architect.

Edna and her husband lived in Brisbane, Queensland in the late 1930s/early 1940s where he was an architect, and then returned to Manly, NSW.

She died in 1968.
