International Women's Day 2013
7th Mar 2013 5:00pm
The Careers and Employer Relations Office at the University of Sydney Business School invites you to celebrate International Women's Day: Diversity in the Workplace.
Due to industrial action at the University of Sydney scheduled for this Thursday 7 March we have cancelled the IWD event. We are, however, looking at alternative dates for a similar event to be held possibly in May 2013. We will be in contact regarding this new event and hope you can join us then.
On behalf of the Careers and Employer Relations Office and the Business School we wish you a great International Women's Day on Friday.
Celebrate the economic, political and social achievements of women of the University of Sydney and champion for further sustainable change.
The event will include a panel discussion with three esteemed female business leaders from Business School alumni and corporate partners who will be discussing the United Nations IWD 2013 theme The Gender Agenda: Gaining Momentum and more specifically Diversity in the Workplace. The panel will be facilitated by Associate Professor Rae Cooper, Discipline of Work and Organisational Studies, The Business School. The panel discussion will be followed by question time.
Refreshments
International Women's Day (IWD) themed light refreshments will be served including a take home IWD themed gift.
