Dimitria Groutsis is a Senior Lecturer in the Discipline of Work and Organisational Studies at the University of Sydney Business School.
Her research focuses on high and low skilled labour mobility and diversity management. Her work has appeared in national and international peer review journals, book chapters and she has co-edited International Human Resource Management (CUP) with Ozbilgin and Harvey; and, she has presented her work at national and international forums and community events. She is currently collaborating with a team of international scholars on a large EU-funded project examining the history of migration management and is also working on an international project which aims to develop a global diversity index.
She currently serves as the Regional Editor (Australasia) for Equality Diversity and Inclusion: An International Journal and, is an Advisory board member of the Journal of Immigrant and Refugee Studies.
She has served on the advisory board of the Diversity Council of Australia (DCA), consulting on their cultural diversity in leadership project; she is a member of the member's forum of the Ethnic Communities Council and has been working closely with the International Organisation for Migration on preserving a large migration archive. Dimitria is the co-Convenor of the Managing Global Migration Research Group (MGMRG), School of Business, University of Sydney. The MGMRG acts as a bridge between scholars researching in the field of migration and diversity management, students with an interest in these areas of study, the business community, and the government and non-government sectors.
