Research Opportunities

We are widely acknowledged as a centre for outstanding research. The research activities, in all major areas of electrical engineering, attract funding from nationally competitive grant sources including significant funding from the Australian Research Council. The School's links with industry have been strengthened by funding from national and international companies where our graduates are highly appreciated for their expertise, creativity and leadership.

PROGRAMS:  We  offer research programs leading to the MPhil and PhD degrees.

RESEARCH AREAS:  Our research is focused in the areas of Future Energy Networks, Wireless Engineering and Networking, Biomedical, Computer and Software Engineering, Fibre-Optics and Photonics.
