Flexible Entry Scheme

Flexible entry looks at the whole, not just your ATAR.

If you are a year 12 student and are taking HSC subjects relevant to your degree of interest, you may be eligible for our Flexible Entry Scheme.

The Flexible Entry Scheme means that you may still receive an offer for a course if you achieve an ATAR that falls within 5 points of the published ATAR.

Through this scheme, we use wider ways of assessing your suitability for entry to certain courses than just your ATAR. For some courses, it's applied automatically; for others, such as Media and Communications, Architecture or Engineering, we're interested in hearing about your motivation for choosing the degree, any extra work experience, and your performance in particular subjects in years 11 and 12.
