NSW Tissue Resource Centre
The New South Wales Tissue Resource Centre (NSW TRC) is dedicated to providing the highest quality human postmortem brain tissue to researchers, both nationally and internationally, who are working towards discovering the causes and consequences of different brain disorders. The NSW Tissue Resource Centre is a collaborator of the Australian Brain Bank Network, and the NSW Brain Bank Network.
The primary focus of our collection is to support research into the aetiology and pathogenesis of schizophrenia, alcohol disorders and healthy control tissue.
The program is operated under the guidance of Jillian Kril, Professor of Neuropathology, Director of NSW Tissue Resource Centre, at The University of Sydney.
NSW TRC has ethics approval from the Sydney Local Health Network and The University of Sydney.
