The Chau Chak Wing Museum will provide state-of-the-art facilities for the collections to be used for cutting-edge research and a wide range of teaching purposes at the University. It will also provide the opportunity for Australian and international visitors to access and engage with items in the collection in dynamic and innovative exhibitions.

The museum is due to open in a landmark new building in 2020 with free admission.
