Biographical details

Peter White joined the Faculty of Veterinary Science in 2010 after completeing a PhD investigating a crippling birth defect in Australian beef cattle known as congenital chondrodystrophy of unknown origin. Since joining the faculty, Peter has taken on a teaching role in physiology, pharmacology, animal production and welfare and expanded his research into pain management in production animals. He has been awarded two major grants investigating pain management in sheep and cattle, and has supervised several honours and postgraduate students.
