Education

University courses are offered for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health professionals who want to further develop their skills in the field of prevention and treatment of substance misuse:

The Graduate Diploma in Indigenous Health is a 12-month block release course, which includes learning in the field of clinical skills, prevention and policy, and management.

The Master in Indigenous Health course includes the Graduate Diploma teaching experience and then goes on for another 12 months to include course work in the field of public health in relation to substance use.

These courses were developed in collaboration with the Australian Centre for Health Promotion and with funding from the Foundation for Alcohol Research and Education.
