Rigorous research insights to build gender equality and inclusion at work
The Australian Centre for Gender Equality and Inclusion @ Work undertakes research to build structural change to catalyse gender equality in the labour market and work.

About us

The Australian Centre for Gender Equality and Inclusion @ Work is the premier location for innovative and rigorous research on workplace gender equality and inclusion at work in the Asia-Pacific region.

We bring together world-leading research capability with practical, evidence-based and actionable insights to build understanding of the drivers of gendered inequalities at work and collaborate with key stakeholders to design strategies for positive change.

Scholars in the Centre produce research that provides evidence-based insights under four key pillars:

  1. Designing gender equality into the future of work.
  2. Addressing gender disparities and segregations.
  3. Building alignment in work and care regimes that work for employee, workplaces and families.
  4. Motivating respectful, inclusive work cultures where all people thrive.
