Career services from first year to after graduation
As a student at Sydney, you're invited to attend many career fairs, workshops, and events throughout the year. Access online resources about finding and applying for jobs, career development, and more.
The Careers Centre is continuing to support students via remote services, including some new online services and resources
- We provide one to one career consults to assist students with their career planning and job search, via Zoom, phone or in-person appointments.
- Our consults have been expanded to also include application (resumes, cover letters, selection criteria) and LinkedIn profile feedback. Students can book a consult via Sydney CareerHub.
- We run both on-campus and Zoom webinar workshops, with the schedule regularly updated on Sydney CareerHub.
- Workshop topics include Resume Writing, Cover Letters, Job Search, Interview Skills and more.
- Students can now upload their resume to our new online platform CV360 and gain instant feedback.
- No limits to the number of times students can use CV360.
- Students can continue to access job advertisements via our regularly updated Jobs Database on Sydney CareerHub.
- Extensive information available on the Careers Centre website, including advice on career planning, job search and applying for jobs.
- Updates to our online Sydney Careers Toolkit
- We have added a range of new interactive options, including Practice Aptitude Tests, a LinkedIn Networking Tool, and a Video Interviews online module.
- These are in addition to our existing online Interview360, Mock Assessment Centre Tool and Elevator Pitch Builder.
- Assess your career confidence with Career Pulse.
