Listed below are the selections ranks, by course, for our domestic students admitted in 2024, including the lowest and highest ranks of students who were admitted based on their ATAR, or ATAR plus adjustment factors.
The University of Sydney is committed to Admissions Transparency. Every year this page will display the selection ranks, by course, of our students who were offered a place based on their ATAR (or ATAR plus adjustment factors or additional admissions criteria, where applicable). Below, you can see the lowest, median and highest ranks.
The data includes applicants admitted through admission pathways and entry schemes who received a selection rank (ATAR plus adjustment factors) that was higher than their raw ATAR, resulting in their eligibility for the offer.
If an applicant was eligible for multiple entry schemes, the one that provided the best rank for the applicant is used.
The data on this page also includes overseas secondary qualifications considered equivalent to an Australian Year 12, such as the International Baccalaureate (IB) and the GCE Advanced Levels. Students completing qualification such as the IB or GCE A-levels will have their overall score converted into a UAC rank by UAC. This rank is comparable to the ATAR.
