«p»«p»This project aims to investigate the effects of flow blockage on natural convection in a convective flow channel, along with the effects of inclination angles and the positions of the blockage. The flow configuration considered in this research involves a confined flow channel subjected to constant heat flux. By adjusting the key control parameters, e.g., the blockage ratio and inclined angle of the heated channel, different thermal flow behaviours are expected, which in turn may affect the passive cooling performance of the heated surfaces and the mass flow rate through the channel. The project will adopt both numerical and experimental approaches. Both two- and three-dimensional simulations will be carried out for the numerical modelling. The experiment may include shadowgraph visualisation and particle Image Velocimetry measurements.«/p»«/p»
