Interested in studying law? The Diploma in Law is a legal qualification awarded by the Legal Profession Admission Board. It is the academic equivalent of a law school degree for the purpose of becoming a lawyer.

The Diploma in Law is designed for those:

  • who wish to become qualified lawyers;
  • who want to be taught by leading practitioners and academics at the University's Camperdown Campus on the edge of the Sydney CBD;
  • who want to study law part time (after hours), around work and family commitments;
  • who want the opportunity to build professional and personal networks while they learn by attending lectures (this is not an online course, but weekend school are available for distance students);
  • who want an academically rigorous course, but one which recognises life experience and does not seek not exclude students by high entry requirements;
  • who would like to graduate debt free (the affordable fee structure and pay as you go fees means cost is not a barrier to study).
