Two-day conference explores direct and indirect tax topics from legal and economic perspectives.
The University of Tokyo Faculty of Law and the University of Sydney Law School held a joint WIP conference for academics and research students in Tokyo on 16-17 February.
All members of Sydney Law School’s tax program attended, along with the Directors of the Ross Parsons Centre of Commercial, Corporate and Taxation Law. Other participants included academics and researchers from the Max Planck Institute for Tax Law and Public Finance, Munich University, the University of New South Wales, and the following Japanese Universities: The University of Tokyo, Hitotsubashi University, Keio University, Kobe University, Kyoto University, Nagoya University, Rikkyo University, Waseda University.
The program covered a wide-range of direct and indirect tax topics, from both a legal and economic perspective.
