Stay in touch with your community
Celebrate the success of your peers by keeping up-to-date with the latest news, research and on-campus developments through our events and publications.

Our alumni community brings together medical professionals from around the world, giving you the opportunity to reconnect with old classmates, and meet new people at a variety of different career stages.

Participate in and enjoy a range of alumni programs and benefits aimed at expanding your personal and professional networks and keeping you involved in our activities.

Become a mentor, donate to a worthy cause, learn about ground-breaking University research or get together for a laugh at one of our reunions. Whatever you're after, we'll help you stay connected to your alma mater.

Support your school

If you would like to support your school, you may do so in a number of ways. You are welcome to make a one-off or ongoing gift, establish a bequest or donate in honour of a person who is significant to you.

You are also welcome to choose where your donation goes, for example you may elect to support our research, our students or the purchase of new equipment.

To find out more, please use the contact information listed below for each school, or visit the University's giving page.

Opportunities and events

Mentoring

We love helping current students and recent graduates as they progress in their journey toward becoming healthcare professionals, and have plenty of opportunities for eager alumni to become mentors to current students.

Reunions

Reunions are a great opportunity for alumni to get together, exchange news and reconnect.

If you’re interested in organising a reunion, the Alumni team can help you make contact with classmates and assist with planning the event.

Figuring out which class you belong to can seem confusing, however it's actually quite simple. Reunions are based on the year of graduation, not the year in which you completed your final year. This means for example that a graduate who completed in 1965 actually belongs to the class of 1966.

Upcoming reunions:

MMBS Class of 1969: 50 year reunion

Saturday 9 March, 2019

Please register online.

Events

We host a number of events and seminars throughout the year, offering students and alumni the opportunity for professional development, networking and the sharing of knowledge. Keep an eye on this page for future events, or update your details to receive email invitations.
