Chamber music
Expand your collaborative playing skills and repertoire
We offer mentoring of various chamber music groups, giving you the opportunity to develop a closely shared musical experience.
Chamber music is performed in small groups and forms a vital component of any music degree. This style of playing provides an excellent complement to the principal study of an instrument or voice. Research points to many benefits of playing in chamber ensembles, broadly grouped into three categories: musical skills; social connection; and personal development. You will engage in intensive rehearsals and work towards live performances of the highest standard, learning from your peers as well as expert practitioners.
Participate in our international Henderson Travelling Program to further develop your artistic skills, cultural competence and depth of musical expertise on an international stage.
