Dr Williamson features in this explosive video
The University of Sydney will be highlighting multidisciplinary research across the sciences and innovation as part of the 10-day festival, with free public talks, panels, activities and workshops – and everyone is welcome.
Chemist and science communicator Dr Alice Williamson, who is appearing in a number of events, said the festival has something for everyone: “There are dozens of University of Sydney staff and students taking part in engaging events and activities.”
This is the fourth year of the Festival, after being established in 2015 as part of National Science Week – Australia’s annual celebration of the intricate world of science and the world we live in. It is an initiative of the Inspiring Australia strategy, developed by the federal Government to deliver a more scientifically engaged Australia.
