The University of Sydney congratulates all alumni and staff who were included on the 2024 Australia Day Honours List.

Australians of the Year

Congratulations to alumni Georgina Long AO (BSc '93, PhD '96, MBBS '01) and Richard Scolyer AO (M D '06) from the University of Sydney and Melanoma Institute Australia, jointly named 2024 Australian of the Year for their life-saving melanoma work.
