Pain management before hip and knee replacement surgery - The University of Sydney

Pain management before hip and knee replacement surgery

A clinical trial is recruiting patients awaiting hip and knee replacement surgery to participate in a telehealth pain management program.

The trial aims to evaluate the effectiveness of virtual interventions in managing pre-surgical pain and improving overall well-being. Participants will receive remote access to guided pain management strategies and educational resources, tailored to their specific needs. The program seeks to reduce pain levels, enhance physical function, and improve outcomes, ultimately optimising surgical readiness and recovery. Eligible individuals will benefit from personalised support while contributing to advancing telehealth solutions in orthopaedic care.
