Sahand is a theoretial physicist researching many-body quantum optics. He is interested in both the fundamental behaviour of quantum optical systems and in using these systems for building useful resources for quantum technologies. Sahand is currently an ARC Future Fellow at The University of Sydney and an Associate Investigator in the ARC Centre of Excellence EQUS. Sahand has previously worked at The Niels Bohr Institute in the University of Copenhagen and The Institute for Theoretical Physics at Leibniz University Hannover.
