Dr Rupa Ganguli

Rupa Ganguli is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning. Rupa’s research interests are in the analysis of housing market operations, their spatial dynamics and potential for market inefficiencies that may require policy-regulatory intervention.

Rupa is currently working on research projects funded by the Australian Research Council (ARC) and Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute (AHURI). Prior to this, Rupa she worked as a researcher and consultant in the property industry for almost 15 years, where she led and collaborated on numerous research projects for Local and State government, the property, and financial services sectors. These projects have involved market supply and demand assessments informing the development application and property feasibility analysis processes.

  • Property market implications of demographic trends, specifically internal and international migration
