Professor Angela Knox
Angela Knox is a Professor of Management (specialising in work and employment) and Academic Director of Professional Development. She is an internationally recognized expert in job quality, precarious employment, skills and migration. Angie has published widely and her work has appeared in Gender, Work and Organisation, Human Relations, Human Resource Management Journal, Industrial Relations, International Journal of Human Resource Management and Work, Employment and Society. She has also co-edited a book, Job Quality in Australia. She is an Editor of Work, Employment and Society and Editorial Board member of Human Relations. Angie has received in excess of ten teaching awards, including the inaugural Dean's Award for Teaching and she is a Senior Fellow with the Higher Education Academy/ Advance HE. She is also an Honorary Professor at the University of Warwick, UK.
Angela’s research interests focus on precarious work, job quality, skills and employment regulation in the service sector.Angela conducts both quantitative and qualitative research and she is currently engaged in national and international collaborative research projects in the fields of precarious work, bullying, skills and migration and job quality.
