Jiang Qian received his PhD in Marketing from the University of Houston. Prior to his doctoral studies, he worked as a research assistant at the Johns Hopkins University, where he received his Master’s degree in Finance. He also doble majored in Information System and Finance in his undergraduate studies at the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. Jiang’s research focuses on developing quantitative models and machine learning methods to extract marketing insights from large-scale structured and unstructured data, with particular interests in social media, online search, and healthcare markets.
