We welcome applications from all faculties and strive for diverse multidisciplinary cohorts. In 2024, our Honours Fellows were from Engineering, Law and Science.
Students should be planning to commence Honours in Semester 1, 2025 with their research aligning with at least one of SEI priority areas: climate disaster and adaptation; environmental justices; transformative governance; and biodiversity and conservation.
The aim of the SEI Honours Research Fellowship Program is to provide a supportive environment and community for emerging researchers, exposing them to multidisciplinary thinking and methodologies to address critical environmental issues.
Applications for SEI Honours Research Fellowships close on 16 March 2025 (11.30pm AEDT).

the opportunity to collaborate on multidisciplinary projects with researchers across the University.
the opportunity to contribute toward multi-authored articles and other outputs.
a hot desk in the SEI office in the Quadrangle (for the duration of the Fellowship).
