We are located within the Brain and Mind Centre at The University of Sydney, giving us access to large patient populations, world-leading clinical experts and purpose-built facilities.
In late 2016 we relocated to the state-of-the-art, custom-designed premises at the University of Sydney’s Brain and Mind Centre. The Brain and Mind Centre aims to address and reduce the enormous impact of disorders of the brain and mind through real-world and real-time multidisciplinary and collaborative research and education.
Work at the centre spans preclinical, clinical and translational research. It extends beyond laboratories and clinics to strong partnerships with industry, government, the community, and other healthcare providers and researchers. The multidisciplinary, patient and community focused mission of the Brain and Mind Centre is an ideal match for our bold research program.
There are 11 clinics at the Brain and Mind Centre that span neurology, neurosurgery, developmental disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, neuro-inflammatory diseases, and youth and adult mental health. These clinics provide access to large patient populations and world-leading clinical experts for the Initiative’s target disorders and diseases.

The majority of our facilities are now operational, with the final stage of construction on schedule for completion in the second half of 2017.
