Lynsey teaches and researches in constitutional and public law. Her areas of research interest span constitutional and administrative law and include Australian constitutional, political and institutional history, constitutional theory and the role of institutions in protecting and enhancing individual, social and political wellbeing. Prior to joining Sydney Law School, she was a postdoctoral fellow with the ARC Laureate Program in Comparative Constitutional Law at Melbourne Law School. She has also taught administrative and constitutional law at the University of New South Wales, where she completed her PhD. Lynsey has wide experience in a range of legal policy roles, including working for the New South Wales Department of Premier and Cabinet, the New South Wales Parliamentary Library Research Service and the New South Wales Law Reform Commission.
