Thesis abstract:
«p»This study investigates the accessibility, economic implications, and long-term impacts of dental rehabilitation following jaw reconstruction in Australia. Using a mixed-methods approach, it will compare outcomes between patients who receive dental rehabilitation and those who do not, examining quality of life, employment status, and financial burden. The research will analyze hospital and government data to assess cost implications for the healthcare system while also conducting case studies of service delivery models across public and private sectors in different states. Additionally, stakeholder interviews with patients, clinicians, and policymakers will provide insights into barriers to care and best practices. The findings will inform healthcare policy and service improvements, aiming to enhance access to affordable and effective dental rehabilitation for patients undergoing jaw reconstruction.«/p»«/p»
