Thesis title: Co-design of a mobile health application utilising gamification, financial incentives, and health records to improve patient adherence

Thesis abstract:

«p»Medication non-adherence is prevalent in patients with long-term disease. As the use of mobile health (mHealth) applications increase more information is needed to substantiate the use of gamification and real-world incentives as an intervention. The design of a gamified and incentivised application has been noted to impact the efficacy and sustainability of the intervention. This research aims to co-design with patients a mHealth application that uses gamification and incentives to address medication non-adherence and inform a patient-centric design for future applications.«/p»
